In the South Burying Ground in Concord, Massachusetts, there are thirteen graves for veterans of the American Revolutionary War. One of them is for the grave of Lieut. Humphrey Barrett, who survived the war by a couple years.
The grave is beautifully adorned, with the winged man and hourglass at the top, and a flower-vine decoration down each side. The inscription is included below.
The marker does not mention his birth day, so he was born some time around 1714 - 1715.
I could find no specific information about Humphrey Barrett. Other Barretts who served during the war included Col. James Barrett, who led the Concord Militia, and Humphrey Barrett, Jr.
