Yuzawa Kat Springs is a medium volume spring, about a 4th magnatude, recently formed by Momma Nature, and it feeds Juniper Creek. It was located by me during a recent outing down Juniper Run.
To find this spring, proceed to the Juniper Springs Campground on Hgwy 40, a few miles west of Hgwy 19. Admission into the park is about $5. Canoe rentals are available for a fee. You can also arrange a shuttle pick up from the take out point on Hgwy 19, back to the campground, for about $6. When I make this paddle, I enter the campground, pay the entrance fee, go to the concession stand, pay the shuttle fee, drop off my boat and drive to the take out point. The shuttle picks me up there, bringing me back to my boat. This way, when I finish the 7 to 8 mile paddle, and I am sore and smelly, my truck is waiting for me.
As you paddle Juniper Creek, you'll want to go slightly past the Waypoint, looking for a feeder creek on the south bank. Park your 'yak here, and follow the creek past CSI Crue Springs, another posted Waymark.
Post script: At this Waymark, you'll find the first stage to a simple, two stage multi Geocache by the same name, GC21Y4Q.
