The Bear Camp Road is a 37 mile paved route from Galice to Agness along Forest Service and BLM roads, 25 miles are single lane with turnouts. This viewpoint is located along the Bear Camp Road at an elevation of about 3400 feet. There is a view to the south of the mountains surrounding the Shasta Costa canyon. No name at viewpoint but topo maps list it as Shasta Costa Overlook.
