The Palmyra Methodist Episcopal Church also known as the Palmyra Church was built in 1870. The woodframe church was built by early settlers, Eli Myrick and William Wilson Myrick, in a Gothic Revival influenced style. The church has been vacant for several years but is now being restored and is again used for some services.
The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
