The Palmyra Methodist Episcopal Church also known as the Palmyra Church was built in 1870. The woodframe church was built by early settlers, Eli Myrick and William Wilson Myrick, in a Gothic Revival influenced style. The church has been vacant for several years but is now being restored and is again used for some services.
