The city of Hat Yai is the major population and economic region of the far south of Thailand. On the outer edge of the city, on the route to the capital city of the province, Songkhla (both the province and the provincial capital is named Songkhla) is this fountain.

The fountain is situated in a busy set of intersecting roads, and is difficult to reach. I suggest waymarking from the curb, unless you are feeling adventurous. I visited the fountain in mid-December, hence the decorations on the fountain surrounds are all Christmas decorations! Yes, Christmas is everywhere.

The fountain itself is relatively tame, but attractively landscaped. Jets of water projected into the air, in one pattern.
