Wetterhäuschen Stadtpark - Vienna, Austria - Time and Temperature Signs on Waymarking.com

Nice nearly 100 years old Wetterhäuschen or Wettersäule nearby the Johann Strauss monument (see WMRA). It has a clock on the top, a thermometer, a barometer for measuring barometric pressure, a hygrometer for measuring humidity and a wind vane for measuring wind directiontin. Directions and distances to several European and Asian cities are engraved on the balustrades.

The metheorological column was restored in 1999 for a total cost of about 30,000 Euro.
