Purgatory Chasm in Sutton, MA. The Chasm is about .25 mile in length, with sheer rock walls rising as high as seventy feet in some places.

Directions: From Route 146, (either north or south) follow to "Purgatory Rd." exit. From North turn right off the ramp, from South turn left, and follow straight up the hill, Chasm is on your left.
You must get a permit to climb! No climbing on Sundays.
There are three main spots to climb- Lovers leap, Devils Pulpit, and the 'Divine Comedy' wall, the rest of the walls tend to be a bit dirty.
