The hamlet of Molines en Queyras is on the road up the valley to Saint Veran. Just off the highway is an imposing 15th century church, Saint Romain. Zarbula painted a pair of corner dials on this church in 1849. The styles are quite different, a colourful circle on the east facing dial and a plain rectangle on the south. The east facing dial had faded due to exposure to the weather but now has been beautifully restored, bringing back the original rich colours. Dated 1849 but not signed. Latin Motto: "Ora ne te rapiat hora" (Pray for the time you did not take.)
Sundial Type: Vertical - Wall mounted dial plate
