I don't know a parent who wouldn't be able to relate to this whimsical scene and portrayal of a family. I am reminded of a fun Sunday afternoon of exploration with my son, also resting upon my shoulders.. The sculptures may be found directly in front of a local service center - auto repair business called Peterson's Garage.

The sculptures are located along a remote section of the White Horse Pike (Rt. 30). They are made up of lots of used parts and scraps of metal. The son is a beautiful red and the mother has blue arms and a blue head. The parents are on socles, one made up of a wheel and the other, a spare tire. There are six other sculptures not including these three. All the sculptures are made by mechanic and resident artist, Tom Peterson.
