This viewpoint is located on Ore. Hwy. 230 about 0.4 miles west of junction with Ore. Hwy. 138. There are informational signs about area and points of interest along the scenic byway plus two interpretive signs about Mt. Thielsen and Mt. Bailey. There is also a restroom at this site.
The Rogue-Umpqua Scenic Byway extends for 172 miles from Roseburg to Gold Hill following Ore. Hwys. 138, 230, 62, and 234.
