This trailhead is located off Ore. Hwy. 230, about 5.3 miles southwest of junction with Ore. Hwy. 138. The trailhead provides access to the Upper Rogue River Trail. There is a viewpoint, parking, interpretive signs and a restroom at the trailhead.
