See the beer being brewed and hops growing whilst enjoying one of our naturally brewed beers under the hop vines in a beautiful rural environment.

The 5%-alcohol Golden Ale is a pale and crisp light bodied ale, fruity with a restrained hoppy dryness created by Red Hill Brewery's own Haullertauer & Terranger hop flowers. This beer is fermented at a cool temperature to create a crisp, clean finish and uses imported German Pilsner Malt, as well as Australian grown Wheat Malt to improve head retention.

The 4.5%-alcohol Weat beer is cloudy, aromatic and highly carbonated. Lightly hopped with bewery-grown Tettnanger hop flowers, it has banana aromas, created by the special type of yeast used and the higher fermentation temperatures. Balanced by a tart finish on the palate which is caused by the high percentage of Wheat Malt in the grain bill, be sure to order a pint of this one to be treated to one of the 500ml tall glasses specially designed for this beer to fully appreciate the creamy, white head and aromatics of the beer.

The 5.8%-alcohol Scotch Ale has the colour of burnished copper, strong with a caramely sweetness. A malt driven beer, it is lightly balanced with the brewery's own Goldings and Willamette fresh hop flowers. The grain make up in this beer is apparently a tightly kept secret, perfected over 7 years as a special blend of English Malts, some of which are dark roasted to bring out the toffee and sweet flavours of this ale.

We had the Scotch Ale, which is dark, fruity and very tasty beer, full of body and flavour, with the caramel aromas and flavour giving way to a slighly smoky finish and many other complex flavours.

Be sure to try the ploughman's lunch to accompany your beer, and say hello to Halle and Jake, the Red Hill Brewery dogs.Halle Jake
