Large beautiful church, located in downtown Baton Rouge. The building is very beautiful, from all sides. The 119 foot campanile really stands out, with a mosaic of tiles on the top of the bell shape. The entire facility was very nice, and clean. Features 28 original pieces of artwork by Reverend Gregory deWit, who painted here sometime between 1937 and 1055. Stained glass by Emil Frei of St. Louis, MO. All the glass was installed between 1942 and 1952. Two statues, listed on the Smithsonian inventory are located outside the main entrance. Really a great church to visit.
