According to Heinz this interior was designed and built by Wright apprentice, Aaron Green with Wright's approval. Green acted as an intermediary for Wright's clients on projects including the Pearce house, Kundert Medical Clinic, and Marin Civic Center.
In 1988, Green dismantled the interior and sold it. It was installed for a time in the Carnegie Museum, in Pittsburgh, PA, and is now located at this location inside the Pierce Arrow Museum.
