An polished oak board with the Roll of Honour inscribed in black painted letters. A gold cross is placed to the left of the names of those who fell. The inscription reads:-

ROLL OF HONOUR
1914 1918
NAMES OF THE MEN FROM THE
PARISH OF NORTHILL WITH CALDECOTE
WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR
[NAMES]

To the right of the main Roll of Honour is the Roll of Honour for Horton School, Ickwell. The board is a carved board with the school crest in the upper left hand corner. The inscription on the main board reads:-

TO THE GLORY OF GOD
AND IN MEMORY OF
THE BOYS OF HORTON SCHOOL
WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES
IN THE GREAT WAR
1914 – 1918
[NAMES]
"THEIR NAME LIVETH FOR EVERMORE"

A brass plaque on the base of the board reads:-

ON THE CLOSING OF
THE HORTON SCHOOL ICKWELL BURY
JULY 1937
