Fickling Mill pond and dam were constructed more that 100 years ago. Families needed these mills near their home to provide things like flour, corn meal, and grits. The waterfall is not a continous flowing waterfall. It does not flow during the summer months unless it has rained, even then it will not flow long unless it rains a lot. There is a picnis table nearby that may be used.Parking is located in front of the old store (across the road from the silver building). USE EXTREME CAUTION ON THE ROCKS AS THEY ARE SLIPPERY WHEN WET.
