In the Serre Chevalier area west of Briancon is faded Zarbula original on the main street of Salle les Alpes, Villeneuve, centre ville, along the main street, #38 rue de la Guisane. SAF catalogue 05 161 13
The dial faces south declining east. The colours and style are typical of Zarbula sundials. The date can be seen but it is not signed. The gnomon is in place but bent up from the correct position.
The Serre Chavalier area west of Briancon has a number of old Zarbula sundials overdue for restoration. The interests of the local politicians and property owners do not seem to be on preservation of the patrimony.
