NZ0860 - USGS Z60, Oregon - U.S. Benchmarks on Waymarking.com

This elevation mark is located near the entrance to Lost Creek Campground. The elevation mark is about 200 feet west of the Pinnacles Road centerline and 50 feet south of the campground entrance road, set in top of boulder nearly flush with ground surface. The cap was set by the USGS in 1931 and was marked Z60. Roads have changed since published description below.

ABOUT 3.3 MILES SOUTHEAST OF KERR NOTCH, KLAMATH COUNTY, ABOUT 3.15 MILES NORTHWEST ALONG THE EAST ENTRANCE HIGHWAY FROM THE EAST BOUNDARY OF CRATER LAKE NATIONAL PARK, AT LOST CREEK RANGER STATION, ABOUT 150 FEET WEST OF SURVEY STATION 469+50, AT THE JUNCTION OF A ROAD LEADING TO CLOUD CAMP, 55 FEET EAST OF THE SIDE ROAD, 40 FEET NORTH OF THE EAST ENTRANCE HIGHWAY, AND IN A BOULDER.
