[FR] The Roman city is not well known, despite numerous discoveries made during the modern era. The location of only one monument has been identified, the theater, partially excavated during the 19th century. The remaining areas of the occupied city are still to be identified but is estimated to be 130 hectars in area which is a considerable size for Gaul. The archeological discoveries give an image of a prosperous down. As proof, remarkable wall paintings have been found at the location of the Gérard de Nerval highschool, in the center of the Château d'Albâtre quarter (a name which comes from a monumental collection - possibly baths - the remains of which have captured the imagincation of the inhabitants)

This museum has a small collection of Gallo-roman artifacts found in the city.
