Historic Baptist Church in Newbern, Alabama.

From the historical marker on site:

The church was organized in April 1848 by Rev. Thomas Chilton. The current sanctuary was built in 1849. The columns are original and are of solid poplar. The education building was added in 1959. The church remains active and the building continues to serve its congregation.
