There are some fancy Stanford University Storm Drain covers at the intersection of Serra Mall and Lasuen Mall.

There’s a path intersection of Serra Mall and Lasuen Mall at Stanford, not far from the Oval, where there are three of these covers, one on each of three corners. Each has a nine-petal flower design in the center, circled with a pattern on triangles with concave sides. Outside that circle are the words "Stanford University" at the top and "Storm Drain" at the bottom. At the outer edge of the cover is a circle of rivet heads. If one takes this Google Satellite View, and rotates it twice, so that South is at the top, all three can be seen.
