Antonio Canevale designed in the early 1630s the Dominican church in Vienna, which boasts a majestic Baroque facade. The interior is equaly imposing. The central chapel on the right has swirling Rococo grilles and candelabra, and there is a very beautiful gilt organ above the west door. Its casing dates from the mid-18th century. The frescoes by Tencala and Rauchmiller are especially noteworthy, as is the high altar.
