This glacial erratic is located in the midst of a rock quarry. It is quite large and probably weighs between 30 to 40 tons.

I tried to get photos of this glacial erratic during the forest fire in Mosier on September 1st. While I was able to see the glacial erratic from the Mark O. Hatfield East Trailhead parking lot I was unable to take photos. Too smoky. And I was soon asked to leave by a firefighter. This afternoon the weather was clear and a bit chilly and windy. There is a road to the glacial erratic but that would mean I had to trespass on ODOT land so the coordinates and photograph was taken from the Mark O. Hatfield East Trailhead parking lot. This large white, angular boulder is about 6'x8'x12' and probably weighs between 30 to 40 tons.
