The small white fence on the triangle of land lies between Grafton Road, Moorend Road and High Street. It surrounds the water pump, wellhead and signpost and has a plaque which reads:

'Yardley Gobion Millennium Project
Replacement of village pump, wellhead and signpost (original circa 1900 - 1950) and planting of 21 oak and beech trees.
Grant aided by South Northamptonshire Council
through the Millennium Grant Scheme.'
