Perry,OK has the Cherokee
Strip Museum which provides an opportunity to explore the remarkable events
and people who made up the history of the Cherokee Outlet. The museum includes
the Rose Hill School built in 1895. Children from all over come to the Rose Hill
School for a day to dress and live like it is 1910. The Perry
Carnegie Library opened in 1909 is located downtown. Admission to the museum is free but
they do accept donations. The museum is closed on Sundays but you will still be
able to log the waymark with a picture.
