THE SHELTERS -
Each of the twin shelters have two areas for use. There are wooden benches and metal tables provided courtesy of the BLM. With plenty of hooks, gear, clothing and food should be hung when not in use. Hooks for hanging lanterns are also already established.

These are very nice shelters which are new within the past few years, so please take care of them - they are your home away from home!

THE AREA -
This BLM managed Recreation Area also features vault toilets (cleaned and stocked with toilet paper from May-Sept), metal fire rings and a solar-powered water pump that is used to irrigate recently planted cottonwood and ash trees (not potable water for humans).

Firewood will NOT be found anywhere nearby, so plan ahead and gather dry driftwood from along the banks of the river upstream before reaching this landing if you plan to have a fire. Also, be aware of, and abide any burning restrictions during your stay.

OTHER FEATURES -
Sites are provided for five tents, and there is a 3.5km loop-trail that leads up to the "Hole-in-the-Wall". Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, lots of water and beware of both rocky terrain and rattlesnakes.
