As described by the Friends of the PERE MARQUETTE RAIL-TRAIL of Mid Michigan, there are 3 former railroad bridges between the Sanford Trailhead and the Coleman Staging Area. The first of which is at the Trailhead in Sanford and you can check out S5280ft's waymark here. (visit link)

We happened to find this one as we were making our way along W Saginaw Road, which runs adjacent to the Pere Marquette Trail. The only information found about this bridge is that it crosses the Salt River. (visit link)

The Friends of the PERE MARQUETTE RAIL-TRAIL are probably right about the view from the bridge, because the view of the bridge is great, especially during the fall.
