According to the self guided map:
1900s commissary store serving a turpentine operation near Bakersburg, just north of Pierson. It was moved to the Settlement in 1984 and is used as our Country Store.

Out Country Store is in the commissary for a turpentine still. The commissary was the company store where necessities were sold to employees. The still and this building were located near Bakersburg, north of Pierson on County Road 3.
