This playground is part of the Eugene C. Royse Memorial Rotary Park in Downtown Maysville. It is close to the library and the sites downtown. It is also close to the Maysville Police Department, so it is generally not a hangout for bored teens. There are not many children that live nearby, so it is common to have the playground to yourself.
The park has a jungle gym and swing set. The ground under the playground equipment is covered in wood chips, so it is fairly safe. The equipment is well maintained. The area has lots of shade.
