Listing based on 1948 telephone directory half-page ad for Mead Lumber and Coal Co. at 1100 Lincoln Avenue. 11th Street was widened and the corner was cut off for a curve in the street when Lincoln Avenue and Grant Avenue were turned into a one-way pair in the 1960s. Mead Lumber relocated to 16th Street and the remainder of the half block formerly occupied by Mead Lumber was rebuilt as Olde York Plaza, with a combination of small retail and office space.
