The plaque reads Dedicated to John C. Johnson for his contributions to the Borough of Haddon Heights. John's Generosity and positive presence in our community has touched many families and friends of Haddon Heights. Thank you John for all you have done - Mayor and Council May 2009. The owner of this store is John Johnson as well so I imagine it is one and the same man and the bench being in front of this business is not a coincidence. I went inside to check out the food market and it is so much like the old time one stop marts from the 50s and 60s. I would recommend a visit if you are in the neighborhood. While you are there, have a seat on the bench.

Where is this bench located?: Along Station Avenue, just off of the White Horse Pike Route 30), in Front of John's Friendly Market.
