Virginia: A Guide to the Old Dominion as part of Tour 4 (US Route 29):
The rebuilt HENRY HOUSE (adm. free), a small two-story frame building here on the hill, is now a museum, containing many battlefield relics. Badly damaged during both battles, the house was later demolished. Mrs. Henry, and 85-year-old invalid and widow of Dr. Isaac Henry, was killed by a shell during the first battle.
The reconstructed house still stands on the top of Henry Hill. It would appear most of the relics mentioned in the book have been moved to the park's visitor's center. There are still a few displays inside the house describing the Henry's and the events that took place on Henry Hill. In front of the house is Mrs. Henry's gravesite and behind the house is a monument erected by Union soldiers.
