This church was built on land donated by the city's founder, who believed that religion, education, and recreation were important to a new town. This is an American Baptist congregation. They have Sunday School classes for all ages, and support a variety of ministries, including colleges and overseas missions. Youth are invited to participate in fellowship meetings on Sunday afternoons. There is a monthly coffee house concert in their lower level.
