The Pittsburg Town Park, located on Main Street in the center of this small community, features a number of historic artifacts, including a Civil War cannon, a historic marker, a large stone wheel from a grist mill, and several war memorials.
There is also a small log cabin that serves as a visitor's center.
This World War II memorial honors those from Pittsburg who served their country in the war. Along with the names of approximately 100 people, the memorial is inscribed with the following words:
