Located at 230 South CC Duson Drive, the HoF honors pioneers of cajun music and culture. Proclaimed by Louisiana Legislature in 1995, the Hall opened in 1997. The first class of 32 inductees was a who's who of Cajun Music. Every year 2 more are inducted. Hall features framed bio's and photos of all inductees, as well as personal artifacts, instruments and clothing. Also a mock up of the first recording session of cajun music in 1928, they issued the first record of a Cajun French song, Allons à Lafayette (Lets go to Lafayette). Nice small HoF a good place to visit.
