to the Children's Science Explorium, Sugar Sand Park offers a

 Recreational Facilities: Walk in the wilderness along Sugar Sand Park's two nature trails. The Sand Pine nature trail, located near the Science Playground, leads you through parts of the endangered Florida scrub. The Slash Pine nature trail, located behind the Community Center, winds you through a piece of Florida's scrubby pine flatwoods. Pick up a brochure from the Front Desk and follow the self-guided tours or casually saunter through these trails and take in a true piece of Florida's wilderness.
