This very simple memorial is located in an older cemetery just off a pretty busy road. The granite marker with a metal American Legion Shield dedicates a non-lighted flagpole in the middle of the cemetery right at the junction of two roads.

The marker reads:
Post 298
In Memory of All Veterans
Type of Memorial: Non-Specific Memorial

In Honor Of: All Veterans

Marker Text:
Post 298 In Memory of All Veterans

Date of dedication: none

Who Put it Here?: American Legion Post 298

Description of Memorial:
This memorial is located in a small older cemetery that has some very interesting older headstones. Several Civil War and Spanish American War veterans and interred here. I literally passed by this memorial twice before investigating why a "headstone" was so close to the flagpole.

Wars mentioned (Multi-war only): Not listed
