The motif of this utility box would appear to be pussy willows.
The box is located in San Diego's trendy Hillcrest neighborhood where there are many more artistic utility boxes. The piece is dated 5/1/05...but the signature is ambiguous--see photo. Is "Conamore" the title? or is it the name of the artist? Is "Gracie" the title of the artist or the work? Perhaps the artist's name is Gracie Conamore. The "JZMP" is another mystery.
