Fuscher Törl is name of memorial, designed by the internationally renowned architect Clemens Holzmeister, that reminds us of the workers who died during the building of the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße. Since 1935 the Großglockner Hochalpenstraße (Grossglockner High Alpine Road) has played host to more than 50 million visitors. It is the most famous of all European alpine roads and terminates at the highest mountain and the largest glacier in Austria, the Grossglockner (3798 m).
