There is a car park at Clesketts to the north at the following coordinates:
N54 55.161 W2 38.6000.

At the summit there is a concrete trig point and a stone cairn.

The top of this mountain can be very boggy so please ensure you have suitable footwear.

Cold Fell just makes it into the definintion of an England mountain (2000 feet) by some 37 feet.
