"DESCRIBED BY COAST AND GEODETIC SURVEY 1949 (WRH) THE STATION IS A STEEL, ELEVATED WATER TANK ABOUT 75 FEET HIGH, WITH A SLOPING ROOF. THE POINT INTERSECTED WAS THE STEEL BALL ON TOP. IT IS ABOUT 0.5 MILE WEST OF THE CITY OF WINTERS ON THE CORNER OF W MAIN AND 4 TH STREETS."
