The University
Playhouse building was acquired
and renovated in 1983 to resemble a turn-of-the century theater. The theater has
a revolving thrust stage and antique cast-iron and walnut seating for
approximately 200. The Playhouse
serves as home for Northeastern
State University's summer music shows and is used by the Drama Department for
classes and productions.
