Marshallville Historic District
Site of glassmaking village established by Randal Marshall and Frederick Stanger in 1814 where window glass was manufactured until 1865. The Stille shipyard, a 900 ft. wharf, limekiln, covered bridge, tavern, general store, and 40 houses were within site of this marker.
Placed on the National Register of Historic Place on November 28, 1989 by the U.S. Department of the Interior
