John W. Callahan was the of owner of a fleet of steamboats that navigated the Appalachicola,Chattahoochee and Flint Rivers during the late 1800s. This bell was taken from the steamboat that was named for the owner John W. Callahan Jr. It is on static display at the Bainbridge Town Square in Downtown Bainbridge.
