His tomb stone reads:

Revolutionary Soldier
Sergeant Pittsburg
Capt. D. Duncan VOL. INF.
Enlisted March 1, 1773 Discharged June 1, 1775
Born 1720 Died 1803" (or maybe it says 1805?)
