The old photo shows the first United Brethren Church, constructed in 1888. It is copied from a colorized postcard that was postmarked in 1909.

The current photo is taken from a slightly different angle, in order to take in both of the background houses which have remained relatively unchanged for over a century. The same coordinates are being used for other waymarks in the Lutheran Churches and Dated Buildings and Cornerstones categories.

The building currently houses Bethel Lutheran Church.
