The Pillar Box is the old hexagonal design and is the most attractive one we have seen. It has an ornate top and crest. Standing on the corner of Meyrick Road and Grove Road it is near the seafront.

This is the immediate edge to Bournemouth town centre where many new and old buildings mix near the seafront.


Condition of the box: Good/Average/Poor: Good

Is this post box still in use?: Monday to Friday 5.30pm and Saturday 11.30am
