WHERE WE ARE LOCATED:
Kensington Runestone Park is located in Solem Township of Douglas County, Minnesota. From Alexandria, go west on State Trunk Highway 27 approximately 14 miles to County Highway 103. Go 1 1\2 miles south on Highway 103 to the park entrance road. All road surfaces to and inside Kensington Runestone Park are paved.
WHAT IS THE PARK'S STORY:
The discovery site of the Kensington Runestone, this 193 acre park is the homestead farm of the Ohman family.

Runestone Park is used by families for picnics and reunions, businesses and other groups for pleasure outings, and winter sports enthusiasts for skiing, tobogganing, and snowmobiling. There are 2 picnic shelter areas and a range of outdoor recreation activities including, volleyball, horseshoes, and hiking. Several history displays are maintained to help interpret the Runestone Park story.
