Situated in Ngakoti Street, Urenui, this playground is in a pleasant grassed park, Yandle Park, on the top of a hill overlooking the sea and the rivermouth. There are also stone seats to admire the ocean views, and public toilets are nearby. The park is open all hours and there is no charge. It is just off the main highway, close to the local shopping centre and take-away food shops, and makes an ideal travelers stop. The children can play while the adults eat fish and chips and watch the sunset over the sea.
